But We shall make them taste the affliction of this world before the greater torment, so that they may retract.

And We shall indeed make them taste the smaller punishment before the greater punishment, so that they may return.

And We shall surely let them taste the nearer chastisement, before the greater haply so they will return.

And surely We shall make them taste of the smaller torment prior to the greater torment, that haply they may yet return.

And verily, We will make them taste of the near torment (i.e. the torment in the life of this world, i.e. disasters, calamities, etc.) prior to the supreme torment (in the Hereafter), in order that they may (repent and) return (i.e. accept Islam).

We will make them taste the lesser torment, prior to the greater torment, so that they may return.

We shall certainly have them taste some chastisement in this world in addition to the greater chastisement (of the Hereafter) perhaps they will retract (from their transgression).

And verily We make them taste the lower punishment before the greater, that haply they may return.

We shall surely make them taste the nearer punishment prior to the greater punishment, so that they may come back.

But We will let them taste the nearest punishment (in this life) before the greater punishment, so that they may return (to faith).

And we will surely let them taste the nearer punishment short of the greater punishment that perhaps they will repent.

We shall certainly make them suffer worldly torment before suffering the great torment so that perhaps they may return to Us.

And most certainly We will make them taste of the nearer chastisement before the greater chastisement that haply they may turn.

And most surely We will make them taste a lesser punishment before the greater punishment, so that perhaps they may return to Us in repentance.

And indeed We will make them taste of the Penalty of this (life) prior to the supreme Penalty, in order that they may (repent and) return.

Knowing the answer to these questions would be useful as a guide to the consumer, but it may well be that the action taken by the 14 Prime Ministers is a source of regret.

The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent,

And the times of this ignorance God winked at but now commandeth all men every where to repent

I don't want gamers to regret the time they spent playing, time that I encouraged them to spend.

If two (men) among you are guilty of such acts then punish both of them. But if they repent and reform, let them be, for God accepts repentance and is merciful.

And punish them both, the man and the woman, whoever are guilty of it (adultery) then if they repent and become pious, leave them indeed Allah is the Most Acceptor Of Repentance, Most Merciful.

And when two of you commit indecency, punish them both but if they repent and make amends, then suffer them to be God turns, and is All compassionate.

And as for those twain of you who commit it, hurt them both then, if they repent and amend, turn away from them verily Allah is Relenting, Merciful.

And the two persons (man and woman) among you who commit illegal sexual intercourse, punish them both. And if they repent (promise Allah that they will never repeat, i.e. commit illegal sexual intercourse and other similar sins) and do righteous good deeds, leave them alone. Surely, Allah is Ever the One Who accepts repentance, (and He is) Most Merciful.

If two men among you commit it, punish them both. But if they repent and reform, leave them alone. God is Redeemer, Full of Mercy.

Punish both of those among you who are guilty of this sin, then if they repent and mend their ways, leave them alone. For Allah is always ready to accept repentance. He is All Compassionate.

And as for the two of you who are guilty thereof, punish them both. And if they repent and improve, then let them be. Lo! Allah is ever relenting, Merciful.

Should two among you commit it, chastise them both but if they repent and reform, let them alone. Indeed Allah is all clement, all merciful.

If two among you commit it punish them both. If they repent and make amends, leave them alone. Allah is the Relenter, the Merciful.

And the two who commit it among you, dishonor them both. But if they repent and correct themselves, leave them alone. Indeed, Allah is ever Accepting of repentance and Merciful.

If any two people commit fornication, punish them. If they repent and reform, let them go. God is All forgiving and All merciful.

And as for the two who are guilty of indecency from among you, give them both a punishment then if they repent and amend, turn aside from them surely Allah is Oft returning (to mercy), the Merciful.

If two men commit a like abomination, punish them both. If they repent and mend their ways, leave them alone. God is forgiving and merciful.

If two men among you are guilty of lewdness, punish them both. If they repent and amend, Leave them alone for Allah is Oft returning, Most Merciful.

I ask you to raise your hearts and hands, to repent your sins, acknowledge the errors of your ways, and beg forgiveness of your Father in Heaven. Amen

When, therefore, the sacred months have slipped away, slay the associators's wheresoever ye find them and capture them and beset them and lie in wait for them at every ambush. Then, should they repent and establish prayer and give the poor rate, leave their way free.

Then when the Sacred Months (the Ist, 7th, 11th, and 12th months of the Islamic calendar) have passed, then kill the Mushrikun (see V. 2 105) wherever you find them, and capture them and besiege them, and prepare for them each and every ambush. But if they repent and perform As Salat (Iqamat as Salat), and give Zakat, then leave their way free.

When the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them. And capture them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush.

But when the sacred months expire slay those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity wherever you find them seize them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them. But if they repent and establish the Prayer and pay Zakah, leave them alone.

Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor due, then leave their way free.

Then, when the sacred months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and maintain the prayer and give the zakat, then let them alone.

When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. Take them and confine them, then lie in ambush everywhere for them.

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them go on their way.

When the sacred months are over, slay the pagans wherever you find them. Capture, besiege, and ambush them.

When the forbidden months have passed, kill the polytheists who are at war with you wherever you find them. Take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every place of ambush.
