It shall enter into force on the date of entry into force of the Agreement.

This Agreement shall be ratified by Japan and approved or ratified by the Union Party, in accordance with their respective applicable legal procedures.

The acts of the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies adopted on the basis of the treaties and acts repealed by Article IV 437 shall remain in force.

The members of the Commission shall exchange information on the activities of fishing vessels flying the flags of non parties to this Convention which are engaged in fishing operations in the Convention Area.

Article 15

For each State which ratifies, accepts or approves the present Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the tenth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the present Convention shall enter into force 90 days after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

Acceptance of this Agreement by non Contracting Parties may be made subject to reservations which shall become effective only upon approval by two thirds of the Contracting Parties.

In paragraph 3 of Article 4 of the Protocol, the words

This Protocol shall enter into force on the 90th day following the date of deposit of the 40th instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval, formal confirmation or accession with the Depositary.

Any regional economic integration organization that becomes a Party without any of its Member States being a Party shall be bound by all the obligations under this Protocol.

The corresponding instruments of accession shall be deposited with the depositary.

A Government which has submitted a notification of provisional application under paragraph 1 of this article will apply this Agreement when it enters into force, or, if it is already in force, at a specified date and shall, from that time, be a Contracting Party.
